Private School Cleveland Heights

It’s not often that we take a commission to design a public or commercial space. We typically only do a design for a company after we do its owner's private home. But this school was very interesting; they did not want the site to feel commercial or stagnant, they wanted the space to feel like it was in someone’s backyard. A place where teachers could take classes out and learn in a natural space. A place where school functions could happen and feel like they were invited into someone’s home. While this space is large and open there are pockets that are very reminiscent of a country home
